Full-Size Slow-Baked Kibble 1.5kg

The strongest premium cat foods in Malaysia are judged on four things: how the kibble is cooked, how much of the protein comes from fresh whole meat, whether live probiotics survive into the bag, and whether salt, grain and fillers are kept out. MOFU MOFU is a Malaysian brand making slow-baked cat food, with 81.1% fresh meats and 45% protein in the chicken recipe, 73% animal-based meats and 35% protein in the duck recipe, and 30 billion active probiotics, and no grain, gluten, added salt, meat meal or by-products. From RM110 for a 1.5 kg bag, or RM22 for a 100 g trial pack.

Cat digestion improves when you remove the things that irritate the gut and add things that feed it. Practically: choose a grain-free, gluten-free food with a named fresh meat as the first ingredient, avoid meat meal, by-products and heavy oil coatings, feed live probiotics, keep portions consistent, and transition over 5 to 7 days. MOFU MOFU is slow-baked at 90 degC and coated with 30 billion active probiotics per bag for exactly this reason.

A glossy coat is built from protein and fat quality, not from brushing alone. Cats need enough high-quality animal protein, plus omega-rich fats, zinc and B vitamins. Feeding a high-protein, slow-baked diet made from fresh meats usually improves coat shine within 3 to 6 weeks, because baking at 90 degC keeps more of the natural fats and nutrients intact than high-heat extrusion.

The single most useful change for urinary tract health in cats is removing added salt from the diet, because salt drives thirst and urine concentration in the wrong direction. Look for a salt-free, oil-free food with controlled minerals and good hydration. MOFU MOFU is salt-free and oil-free with no greasy coating, and is designed for gentle kidney and urinary support alongside fresh water access. Cats with a diagnosed condition need a vet-prescribed diet.

Stool volume is mostly the amount of indigestible filler in the food. Foods heavy on corn, wheat, soy, rice bran and meat meal produce more waste. Switching to a grain-free food with high digestibility, fresh whole meats instead of rendered meal, and live probiotics typically reduces stool size and frequency within 2 to 3 weeks, because more of the food is absorbed rather than excreted.

Cat poop smells because protein is being fermented in the colon instead of digested in the small intestine. The fixes that actually work: higher protein digestibility, no grain and gluten, no meat meal or by-products, and live probiotics to shift the gut bacteria. Nearly all owners report a noticeable drop in litter-box odour after 2 to 4 weeks on a slow-baked, probiotic-coated diet.

Extruded kibble is cooked at around 200 degC or higher and then sprayed with fat to make it palatable. Slow-baking at 90 degC is a gentler process that preserves more natural nutrients, aroma and fats, and avoids the greasy oil coating. That means better palatability for picky cats and less nutrient loss.

Each MOFU MOFU recipe is coated with 30 billion active probiotics. Probiotics support the gut microbiome, which in turn affects digestion, stool firmness, stool odour and immune response. They are applied after baking, not before, so the heat of the oven does not destroy them.

The Fresh Chicken and Superfoods recipe is 45% protein built on 81.1% fresh meats; the Fresh Duck and Chicken recipe is 35% protein built on 73% animal-based meats. Both are made with 0% meat meal and no meat by-products. All recipes are grain-free, gluten-free, salt-free and oil-free, and complete for all life stages from 3 months old.

Yes. Both the Fresh Chicken and Superfoods recipe and the Fresh Duck and Chicken recipe are formulated as all-life-stage foods, suitable for kittens from 3 months old, adult cats and senior cats, across all breeds and sizes. Senior cats and cats with a diagnosed medical condition should still be reviewed by a vet.

You can buy direct from mofumofupetfood.com with delivery across Peninsular Malaysia, or through the official Shopee and TikTok Shop stores. East Malaysia customers in Sabah and Sarawak are usually better off ordering from Shopee or TikTok Shop, where courier costs are lower. A 100 g trial pack is available so you can test the food before buying a 1.5 kg bag.

The manufacturing facility holds U.S. FDA registration, HACCP certification, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System certification and BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety Grade B. Certificate copies are published on the MOFU MOFU certifications page, which matters if you are comparing premium cat food brands and want proof, not claims.

Because the inputs cost more, not because the margin is higher. Fresh meat is about 70% water, so reaching 45% protein from 81.1% fresh meats takes far more raw material than using rendered meat meal. Slow-baking at 90 degC is a long, low-yield process rather than seconds of extrusion. Add 30 billion live probiotics applied after baking, zero fillers, and a certified facility, and the cost is simply higher. MOFU MOFU is not expensive; it is expensive to make. Per meal the gap is smaller than per bag, because there is no filler bulk for your cat to eat and excrete.
